Process signed documents window - Orders tab
Path: Transactions>General>Process Signed Documents
Prerequisite: To access the Orders tab of the Process Signed Documents window, you need to have the appropriate privileges granted by the Netsmart Homecare administrator.
When physicians have signed their orders, you need to record the receipt of these orders on the Orders tab.
On the Orders tab, you can select a particular physician and view orders that ready to be marked as signed (or rejected). For each order, you can see the date and time when the order was printed, the order ID, the date
of the order, order type (certification or supplemental), whether it was signed electronically or signature captured, patient name, and any notes relating to the order. The same notes from On-Demand orders display here and can be updated in the Notes column as well.
After you receive an order with a physician's signature, you need to specify the date when the order is received, apply the appropriate status to this order, and add any necessary notes. Also, you can reject an order if you received it from a physician stating it is not correct. For more information, see Update the status of signed orders.
