Create orders
Path: Patient > Clinical
Path: Patient > Documents > View Orders
- In the Patient component, select the appropriate patient.
- Complete the following clinical entries in Patient > Clinical that generate orders:
- General Clinical (only for certification orders)
- Medications
- Visit Frequency
- Care plans (goals and interventions) Note: The goals and interventions generate an order only when specified in the Orders field in Administration > Clinical > Care Plans.
- Clinical Notes of the "O" use code (for orders) only if cannot be added through the autogenerated options
- Verify that the patient has valid diagnoses and procedures (not free-text).
- Save your changes.
- Go to Patient > Documents > View Orders and preview the order.
If any errors are found, change the appropriate clinical items and review the order again.
