Revision History Log panel

Path: Patient>Help>Show Revision History

Note: You can also access this panel by clicking the History button (h icon) on the toolbar in the Patient component. For more information on how to use the panel, see View Revision History Log for patient.

With the Revision History Log panel, you can view the changes that were made during the last 30 or 60 days to patient's basic and clinical information in some fields in the Patient, Orders, Schedule, and Transactions components. To view all the history of changes, see the About Revision History report.

The Revision History Log panel is available in Host Mode only. The changes made in Field Mode, Mobile Homecare, Physician Portal, Link and HL7 messages are applied once the medical record is updated at the time of synchronization.

On the panel, you can

  • view the whole log for the selected patient
  • filter the log by the areas of the application where the changes occurred.

The Filter by drop-down list contains all the areas where the data was modified. However, you can view the revision history records only for those windows to which you have access.

The records are shown starting from the most recent one. Each record shows:

  • modified items (for example, a field, a check box, or a record)
  • their old and new values
  • the operator who made changes
  • the operation type
  • the date and time of the change

The following operation types are recorded:

Operation Description

Created

When you create and save an item. If an item was created in Field Mode and edited in Field Mode, then after synchronization the activity is recognized as Created.

Updated

When you modify and save an existing item. For example, if you delete the patient's middle name, it is recorded as Updated showing the new value as an empty field.

Deleted

When you delete an item (for example, medications, goals, or others).
