Set up placement/enrollment services

 

Define service events for Placement/Enrollment programs.

  • myEvolv requires a unique relationship to be established between a program, a facility associated with that program, and a system-defined service.
  • Facility Placement, which is contained within the Membership/Placement Event Category, is an example of this service.
  • In addition, these services are available when setting up a Billing Scheme, allowing them to be billable.
  1. Go to: Agency Setup > Services Setup > By Program > Placement/Enrollment.
  2. In the Program list, in a program row click Actions, then Open Form.
  3. Click the plus sign in the grid to add a service.
  4. Select the Service Event.
  5. For Service Facility Type, select the type of facility that offers the service. 
  6. For Service Facility, select the facility where the service takes place, or leave this field blank for all facilities.
    • If a facility is selected, the service event can only be provided at that facility.
    • The facilities available ae associated with the Service Facility Type and are linked to the program.
  7. Select the Default Location where the service will occur.
    • For Placement services, select Other (code 99).
    • This value is used where a location is not specified during Service Entry.
    • Locations are defined in the Location table in Table Maintenance.
    • The selected location can be used to link to a Place of Service Code in finance, to associate with claims for a service.
  8. Enter an Item Description for the service event. 
  9. Select Extract Service Code
  10. Select Exclude form Service Authorization to exclude the service from required authorizations.
  11. For Authorization Threshold, enter the number of authorizations before the threshold is reached.
  12. Select the Is Active check box.
  13. Click Save.
