External referrals setup

For external referrals, your agency needs to specify the programs that make referrals to external agencies and the organizations used for the referrals. 

Program setup

  1. Go to: Agency Setup > Services Setup > By Program > Individual Services.
  2. Select the Program that will make referrals to an external agency.
  3. In the System Defined Services section, click the plus sign '+' and in the Service Event field, search for and add the Referral to Another Agency event.
    Note: This is a System Not-Modifiable event.
  4. Select Save.

Organization setup

  1. Go to: Agency > Service Locations > Outside Organizations > General Information.
  2. Search for or add an Organization to be used for referrals.
  3. Select the Agency Refers Out to check box.
  4. Select Save.
