Export and Import a Form Design
You can create a form design in myEvolv, export it to your local machine and then import it to the myEvolv form designer. This feature can be useful for multiple environment systems when you want to export a design from a testing environment and then upload that design to a production environment.
Menu path:
- Setup > User Tools > Form Designer > Form Designer
- Setup > User Tools > Form Designer > Import
Export a Form Design
- Navigate to the following path: Setup > User Tools > Form Designer.
- In the toolbar, click Open. Select a form family.
- In the Form List pane, select a form, right-click, and from the context menu, click Export Form Design.
- Complete the prompts and save the file.
System Result: The system downloads the XML file to your default downloads location.
Import a Form Design
Release Consideration: As of myEvolv versions 9.0.8200 and later, you can import form designs that contain multiple test and assessments.
- Navigate to the following path: Setup > User Tools > Form Designer > Import.
- Select the Upload Form Design File link and then click Upload File.
- In the Upload File dialog, browse to the location of the XML design file saved to your system.
- Click Upload File.
Note: In order to successfully upload the file, the form must not already exist in the system to which you are uploading.
