Dictionary Export

Export dictionary codes and values to a text file. The export includes dictionaries that have been autosynched (Autosync Maintenance form) and dictionaries that contain extended data elements.

Dictionaries and tables can be imported on the Dictionary Import form.

  1. Go to: RADplus Utilities > Dictionary and Table Maintenance > Dictionary Export.
  2. In the File field, select the dictionary file.
    Note: This list contains all myAvatar dictionary files.
  3. In the Locked Dictionary Selection and Autosynced Dictionary Selection fields, choose the dictionary types to be exported.
    Note: myAvatar product locked dictionaries cannot be imported.
  4. In the Include Inactive Codes field:
  • Select Yes to include active and inactive dictionary codes.
  • Select No to include active dictionary codes.
  1. In the Selected Dictionaries field, select dictionaries to include.
  2. Select Export to generate the export file.
    Result: The file is downloaded to your computer.
