Avatar HL7 > HL7 Outbound Charges

This settings allows you to choose whether or not to include a service code modifier in Segment FT1 field 26 (procedure code modifier) of an outbound charge mesage. 

By default, a service code modifier is not included.

The available choices are:

0 = Do not include
1 = Take the CPT-4 / HCPCS Modifier defined in the Service Fee/Cross Reference Maintenance form (not guarantor specific). This is limited to First Dose of Week charges as defined in myAvatar AM.
