Revert To Other Form Designer Copy Rules

You have the ability within Form Designer to restore a previous version of an myAvatar core form, or a user-defined form.

  • You can either import form design changes, or revert the form to an earlier state.
Both functions are not available in the same form session.

  • Avatar product forms can be reverted to the original form state.

  • User-defined forms can be reverted to the original form state, which is the user-defined form before Form Designer edits were made.

  • If reverting to a prior copy of a form, you can click ‘Show Tab’ to review the earlier version of the form before Form Designer is filed.

  • When a form is reverted to a prior copy, or 'Import Form Designer Copy' is used:
RADplus 2018 performs a validation to verify the changes that have occurred in the form (if any).
If changes are found that would cause display issues in the form, the form is modified to prevent these changes from occurring.
When Form Designer is filed, a dialog displays that allows you to review or accept the form modifications. The dialog will show the form fields, and detail possible conflicts.
Form Designer modifications that could cause display issues include:

    • Modifications to the form's screen display.

    • Modified locked dictionary values, or locked dictionary codes.

    • Modified field descriptions.

    • Modified field requirement status.

    • Modified Help message status.

    • Modifications to a field's initially enabled status.
