Create client alerts

You can create alert types in the Alert Types form.

Client alerts defined to be episodic will only trigger on episodic forms (e.g. Financial Eligibility), not forms which contain an episode lookup. After entering a client ID, you must select an episode from the pre-display before the form loads. The episode pre-display will trigger any alerts defined for the client and episode selected in the pre-display. The form Progress Note (Group and Individual) can be accessed prior to selecting any client or episode. This form contains a client and episode lookup within the form, but is not episode based, since no client or episode is required to be selected before opening the form. Therefore, episodic client alerts will not be triggered in Progress Note (Group and Individual) when an episode that is part of an episodic alert is selected. If a client alert is defined to be active for all episodes, non-episodic forms such as Progress Note (Group and Individual) will trigger non-episodic based alerts when the client is selected in the search field within the form.
