Create an All Documents view

The All Documents View is an NX-only Console view that uses the All Documents Widget. The Documentation View is essentially a full screen All Documents Widget paired with a Console Widget Viewer and a list of associated forms. Users can then select forms and documents for viewing. Many organizations use a Documentation View to alleviate the loss of the Client Chart View. To define a Documentation View, an All Documents Widget will need to have been previously defined and then selected in View Definition.

Prerequisite:

  1. Go to RADplus Utilities > Widget Management > View Definition.
  2. Choose Select View.
  3. In the Select Views dialog box, choose Add New View and select OK.
  4. For View ID, enter a label for the view.
Note: This label is stored in the system in the ALLCAPS format.
  5. In the View Description field, give the view a name.
Result: This name displays in the NX view.
  6. For View Type select Documentation View.
  7. Select Associated Views.
  8. On the Select Views screen, in the left panel select the check box for each view to add to the Documentation View.
Result: The selected views appear in the right pane. These views display under My Workflow Items in the left panel navigation.
  9. In the right panel, drag and drop the views to reorder them.
  10. Select OK to return to the View Definition form.
  11. For the All Documents Widget, select the widget created in All Documents Widget Definition.
  12. Select Submit.
