Client Lookup/Header Configuration Manager
Control how the Client Lookup screen displays and functions in admission forms (Avatar PM).
RADplus 2018 Update 22 - The form, 'Client Lookup Configuration Manager' is renamed to 'Client Lookup/Header Configuration Manager' and two new sections, 'Client Header' and 'Client Header Override' are added to support the customization of the Client Header.
Use the Client Lookup/Header Configuration Manager form to:
- Indicate which fields display in the Client Header; for example, when a Client and Episode are selected in the Admission form.
- Define the minimum score a search must meet to display as a search result.
- Refine how clients searches are performed and the kind of search results that are produced.
- Go to RADplus Utilities > Database Management > Client Lookup/Header Configuration Manager.
- In the Client Header section, make the following selections:
- Select Add New Item to enable the Field to Include in Client Header and Field Order dropdown fields.
- Select the field to include in the client header and field order position in the header to place the field. There are 4 columns available and up to 5 positions to place the fields in each column.
Note: The Name(PATID) and Episode/Program Fields will always be present in the Client Header in "Column 1, Position 1 and Column 2, Position 1 respectively.
In addition, the following items will always appear grouped in the header: (Gender, Age, Date of Birth, Gender Identity), (Height,Weight,BMI) and (Marital Status, Education). Editing the 'Field Order' of one item in a particular group applies the selected field order to all other fields in the group.
- File the form.
- Open a client and episodic form, for example the Admission form. Verify the client header fields display and are populated as expected, based on the selections you made in the Client Header selection.
- Optional. Use the Client Header Override section to allow whatever is set up in the Client Header section to be overridden by the Program a client is admitted to.
- Select Add New Item to enable the Field to Include in Client Header and Field Order and the Program dropdown fields.
- Select the specific program, fields to include for that program, and the field order position in the header to place the field. There are 4 columns available and up to 5 positions to place the fields in each column. (For example if any clients are admitted to "Inp Adult Forensic" or "Partial Adult Psych" programs, you may only want to display specific fields in the Client Header for these programs. All other programs will default to fields selected in the Client Header section of the Client Lookup/Header Configuration Manager form.)
- File the form.
Open a client and episodic form, such as the Admission form, where the client is admitted to one of the programs set up in Client Header Override section (see the Client Header Override step above). Verify the client header fields displayed and populated are as expected, based on the selections in the Client Header Override selection.
Note: The episodic information displayed in the Client Header does not change while viewing documents within a chart view.
Registry Setting: Populate Chart Header with Currently Selected Episode, introduced with RADplus 2018 Update 65, will enable the chart header section in Chart View to populate with data associated to the selected episode from the home view. With this registry setting enabled, the header only displays data from the episode which was selected on the home view and does not change while switching between episodic documents.
