Abstract Import

Import a user-defined abstract file into myAvatar .

RADplus Utilities > Abstracts

• The myAvatar application is used as the build environment for new abstracts.

• The imported abstract build environment must be in the myAvatar system code.

1. In the Select Abstract Import File field, choose the abstract, click Open.

2. In the Overwrite Existing Abstract or Create New Abstract field:

• Select Create New to import a new abstract definition.
• Select Overwrite Existing to import an abstract definition, that overwrites an existing abstract definition.  If this field is changed after the import scan is performed, the scan must be performed again.

3. Click Begin Import Scan to scan the import file for problems. Scan results display in the Import Scan Results field:

• Warnings - the abstract definition import continues.
• Errors - the abstract definition import is stopped.
• If overwriting an abstract, any conflicts between the import file and the abstract definition display.

4. If appropriate, click Print Import Scan Results to print the Import Scan Results field information.

5. Click Begin Import.
