Abstract Export

Export a copy of a user-defined abstract to a text (.txt) file.

RADplus Utilities > Abstracts

  • Abstracts can be exported to any myAvatar application that has abstract functionality.The entire abstract created in the Abstract Definition form is exported, including associated Crystal Reports and data element help messages.

Prerequisites:

  • The abstract must eligible for export (Is Abstract Eligible for Export field, Abstract Definition form, Abstract Definition section).

  1. The Select myAvatar PM Abstract screen displays. 
  2. In the Select PM Abstract Name/ID# field, enter the abstract name, click Select myAvatar PM Abstract.
  3. Click Ok.
  4. Click Begin Export.
  5. A Open dialog displays. Navigate to the report, click Open.  The abstract is exported.
