About the Console Widget Viewer

The Console Widget Viewer allows you to view documentation within a client's chart without leaving the current page or view. This means you can conveniently view client information from one place instead of navigating to separate forms. It can be handy if information just needs to be viewed rather than updated.

Prerequisites:

The Enable Console Widgets/Views registry setting must be set to 'Y'.
The Middleware must be on build version 2018.01.00 or higher.
A system administrator has set up the Console Widget Viewer using the Console Widget Configuration form.

View Records

In a Console widget, select the View button at the beginning of a data row and a tab with the row details displays in the Console Widget Viewer. Each time you select the View button for a row in any Console widget, a new tab displays.

In the Console Widget Viewer:

Select the X on a tab to remove the tab from the Console Widget Viewer.
Select Open Record to open an existing record.
Select New Record to add a new record from the viewer widget or from within any Console widget.
Select Close All to clear all open tabs on the Console Widget Viewer widget.
