CareNet System Defaults

Enable CareNet, and define how CareNet communicates with myAvatar MSO.

Avatar MSO > System Maintenance > CareNet System Defaults

  1. In the CareNet Enabled field, select Yes to enable the CareNet interface.

  2. In the Download Data From CareNet field, select Yes to allow downloading information from the CareNet database.

  3. In the Download Interval (In Seconds) field, enter the number of seconds myAvatar MSO will check if information is to be downloaded from CareNet.

  4. In the Java Batch File Path field, Type the path to the Java Batch File utility. This utility processes information from CareNet.

  5. In the SQL Database field displays the database.

  6. In the Default CareNet User ID field, enter the user ID.

  7. In the Maximum Number Of Services In A Batch field, enter the maximum number of services that can be contained in a batch.

  8. In the Assessment Form field, select the assessment form to use in CareNet. This list contains member entity forms created through RADplus Utilities modeling.

  9. In the SMTP Server field, enter the path to the SMTP server used for the facility's e-mail notification.

  10. In the Email From Address field, enter the e-mail address to notify if the CareNet interface fails.

  11. In the Email From User ID field, enter the user ID sending the email notification.

  12. In the Email From Password field, enter the password the user sending email notifications uses to access their e-mail.

  13. In the Email To (Comma Delimited) field, enter the e-mail addresses of people to contact. Separate multiple e-mail addresses with commas.

  14. In the Send 837 Inbound Services To CareNet field, select Yes to send 837 inbound service information to CareNet.

  15. Click File.

  16. Click Dictionary Code Upload to export dictionary codes from myAvatar MSO to CareNet.

  17. When finished, click File (CareNet System Defaults Section).
