Enter file sharing information.

Avatar MSO > System Maintenance > CareNet System Defaults

  1. In the Enable MSO/CareNet File Sharing field, select Yes to enable myAvatar MSO and CareNet file sharing.

  2. In the FTP Server field, enter the path to the FTP server.

  3. In the Shared Directory on Server (Network Path) field, enter the network path to the shared directory on the server.

  • For example, \\\.

  1. In the Shared Directory on Server (Local Disk Path) field, enter the path to the shared directory on the local computer.

  • For example, C:\.

  1. In the Maximum File Size (MB) field, enter the largest file size in megabytes.

  2. In the Use Internal File Viewer field, select Yes to use the Caché internal file viewer.

  3. In the File Repository field:

  • Select Caché Database to store files in the Caché database.
  • Select Disk/File Server to store files in a directory (File Location field).

  1. In the File Location field, enter the directory path.

  2. Click Move Files To Disk/File Server to export files to the server location.

  • This field is enabled after the form has been filed.

  1. Click Remove Files From Database to delete files from the Caché database.
