HL7 Inbound Charge/Credit Reconciliation
Review errors that were encountered during the posting of the HL7 inbound charge batch. This form provides a concise summary of all issues that occurred during the compile and posting of charges instead of looking batch at each batch report.
- When you compile HL7 charges (immunization, lab or pharmacy) and you receive an error, these errors populate this form and will not be shown again on future compiles.
- You can use this form as a worklist to determine the most appropriate way to address each of the issues and mark each in order to track if it has been resolved. However, if the source system cannot resend the charge, you must enter these charges onto the client's ledger manually.
- You can also view charges that were not associated with a client. These charges have to be inputted manually against the client using the Client Charge Input forms.
- Go to Avatar PM > HL7 Interface > Charge Processing > HL7 Inbound Charge/Credit Reconciliation.
- In the Charge Type field, select the whether it is a Dental, Immunization, Lab, or Pharmacy charge type.
- Use the From and Through Date Of Service fields to limit the report to those transactions that have an associated date of service falling within these dates.
- In the Client field, select the client for whom to generate the report.
- In the Include Resolved Transactions field, select whether or not to include resolved transactions in the report. By default, resolved items will not appear on the report.
- Select View Transaction Report to generate the report of errors according to the selected specifications.
- Select Launch Resolution Input to launch the worklist grid. From here, errors can be managed and marked as resolved or disregarded.
