System Maintenance - System Task Scheduler - Cal-PM

Tasks can be scheduled and automated at a facility using the System Task Scheduler.

  1. Go to: Avatar PM > System Maintenance > System Definition
  2. In the Schedule(s) field, select the schedule to be modified. 
    Note: The items that appear in the drop-down are added via product updates.
  3. In the Recurrence Pattern field, select how often the task should occur.
    Note: When selecting Daily recurrence, you have the option to specify that the task only occur on weekdays by checking the Every Weekday box.
  4. In the Task Occurrence Sequence field, enter the interval the task should recur over.
    • For example, a Weekly recurrence with a Task Occurrence Sequence of 2 will recur every two weeks. A Daily recurrence with a sequence number of 1 will occur every (one) day. When this field is set to 1, myAvatar will not skip any intervals.
    • This option is not available when the Every Weekday box has been checked in step 3.
  5. In the Recur Every field, select which day the task should happen on.
    • When selecting Other with Monthly recurrence, the task can be set to recur on the 1st, 15th, or last day of the month. See Recur On.
    • When selecting Other with Yearly recurrence, the task can be set to recur on a particular day of the year. See Specify Day.
  6. In the Recur On field, select when in the month the task should recur.
    Note: This field is only available for Monthly and Yearly recurrences.
  7. In the Month field, select the month in which the task should recur.
    Note: This field is only available for Yearly recurrences.
    When selecting a Recurrence Pattern of Yearly and a Recur Every value of Other, it's possible fill in the Specify Day field with a particular date.
    The date format for this field should be "MM/DD," where MM is the two-digit month and DD is the two-digit day.
  8. Next, set the Range of Occurrence. Fill in the Start By date, the Start Time, and the End By date, if any.
  9. In the Inactive Task field, select whether or not the task should be inactive.
    Note: Select Yes to deactivate the task Deactivated tasks will not recur until reactivated on this form.
  10. Select Schedule Task.
