Product Update Description

The 'State of Illinois DHS/DASA Pharmacy System' and 'State of Illinois DHS/DASA Pharmacy System File Generation' forms are modified to support the use of the 'Patient Consent' field.

State Form - State of Illinois
The 'State of Illinois DHS/DASA Pharmacy System' and 'State of Illinois DHS/DASA Pharmacy System File Generation' forms are modified to support the use of the 'Patient Consent' field.
The 'STATEFORM.illinois_pharmacy' tables has two new fields: patient_consent_code and patient_consent_value
Value Added: The 'Patient Consent' field is added for addition reporting options.

Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Admission (Outpatient)
  • State of Illinois DHS/DASA Pharmacy System
  • State of Illinois DHS/DASA Pharmacy System File Generation
Scenario 1: State of Illinois DHS/DASA Pharmacy System
Specific Setup:
  • The test system is enabled for state of Illinois processing.
  • Two clients are selected for entry in the 'State of Illinois DHS/DASA Pharmacy System' form ("Client A" & "Client B"),
Steps
  1. Open the 'State of Illinois DHS/DASA Pharmacy System' form.
  2. Select "Client A" in 'Client ID'.
  3. Select the 'Episode'.
  4. Validate that the following fields are required: 'Patient ID/RIN', 'Medication Type', 'Clinic', and 'Patient Consent'.
  5. Enter data for the required fields, and desired optional fields. Select 'Yes' in 'Patient Consent'.
  6. Click [File].
  7. Click [OK].
  8. Remain in the form.
  9. Select "Client B" in 'Client ID'.
  10. Select the 'Episode'.
  11. Enter data for the required fields, and desired optional fields. Select 'No' in 'Patient Consent'.
  12. Click [File].
  13. Click [OK].
  14. Close the form.
  15. Open the 'DHS/DASA Pharmacy System File Generation'.
  16. Enter the desired date in the 'Monday's Date' field.
  17. Enter the desired value in the 'Provider Number' field.
  18. Select the desired values in the 'Clinic' field.
  19. Enter the desired value in the 'Filename' field.
  20. Enter the desired value in the 'Filepath' field.
  21. Click [File].
  22. Click [OK].
  23. Click [Generate].
  24. Click [OK].
  25. Close the form.
  26. Open the file that was generated in the 'Filepath' location.
  27. Validate that "Client A" has one row of data that contains a "Y" in position 351.
  28. Validate that "Client B" has one row of data that contains an "N" in position 351.
  29. Close the file.
  30. Open the 'State of Illinois DHS/DASA Pharmacy System' form.
  31. Select "Client A" in 'Client ID'.
  32. Select the 'Episode'.
  33. Validate that the following fields are required: 'Transaction Type', 'Monday's Date', 'Patient ID/RIN', 'Medication Type', 'Clinic', and 'Patient Consent'.
  34. Enter data for the required fields, and desired optional fields. Select 'No' in 'Patient Consent'.
  35. Click [File].
  36. Click [OK].
  37. Remain in the form.
  38. Select "Client B" in 'Client ID'.
  39. Select the 'Episode'.
  40. Enter data for the required fields, and desired optional fields. Select 'Yes' in 'Patient Consent'.
  41. Click [File].
  42. Click [OK].
  43. Close the form.
  44. Open the 'DHS/DASA Pharmacy System File Generation'.
  45. Enter the desired date in the 'Monday's Date' field.
  46. Enter the desired value in the 'Provider Number' field.
  47. Select the desired values in the 'Clinic' field.
  48. Enter the desired value in the 'Filename' field.
  49. Enter the desired value in the 'Filepath' field.
  50. Click [File].
  51. Click [OK].
  52. Click [Generate].
  53. Click [OK].
  54. Close the form.
  55. Open the file that was generated in the 'Filepath' location.
  56. Validate that "Client A" has two rows of data and both rows contain a "N" in position 351.
  57. Validate that "Client B" has two rows of data and both rows contain a "Y" in position 351.
  58. Close the file.
