Product Update Form Description

The following issues are resolved on the 'PROS Encounter' form: 1) Entering program participation hours using the Program Participation grid would calculate and display the 'Program Participation (hours)' as an integer rather than in hh:mm:ss format. This issue is related to SF 2021 update 35. 2) The case where not all rows entered in the 'Program Participation' grid would be re-displayed after being saved.

Functionality has been updated to display the 'Program Participation (hours)' in 'hh:mm:ss' format, such as 05:30:00.

Functionality has also been updated to retain all rows of the 'Program Participation' grid when the 'PROS Encounter Form' has been submitted.

  • Guarantors/Payors
  • Program Maintenance
  • PROS Encounter Form
  • PROS Program Participation Definition
  • Registry Settings (PM)
  • Service Codes
  • User Definition
Scenario 1: 'PROS Program Participation Definition' maintained in 'PROS Encounter Form'
Specific Setup:
  • Registry Settings:
  • Enable Pros Processing registry setting = 'Y'.
  • Dictionary Update:
  • Client: dictionary '10021 Covered Charge Category' contains desired categories for PROS services.
  • Service Codes:
  • Identify service codes that include the above categories in 'Insurance Charge Category'.
  • Service Fee/Cross Reference Maintenance records exist for the service codes.
  • Program Maintenance:
  • Program 1: Select a program for testing, Select 'Site Specific Extended Dictionaries' to define the 'PROS Component Definition for Program' and 'Is this a PROS Pre-Admit Program'.
  • Program 2: Select a program for testing, Select 'Site Specific Extended Dictionaries' to define the 'PROS Component Definition for Program' and 'Is this a PROS Pre-Admit Program'.
  • Client:
  • Client 1: Select a client that is enrolled in Program 1.
  • Client 2. Select a client that is enrolled in Program 2.
  • Pros Program Participation Definition:
  • Create a definition for Program 1 that contains more than one row, noting the number of rows.
  • Create a definition for Program 2 that contains more than one row, noting the number of rows.
Steps
  1. Open the 'PROS Encounter' form.
  2. Enter the desired ‘Date’.
  3. Select the desired ‘Client ID’ for Client 1.
  4. Verify that the ‘Episode Number’ defaulted if the client has one episode. Select the desired episode if the client has more than one episode.
  5. Enter the desired ‘Signed In’ time.
  6. Enter the desired ‘Signed Out’ time.
  7. Click [Choose Program Participation].
  8. Validate that the rows that display are all the rows for 'Program 1' in 'PROS Program Participation Definition'.
  9. Click [Save].
  10. Click [Yes].
  11. Validate that 'Program Participation (hours)' are displayed as 'hh:mm:ss' format, such as '05:00:00'.
  12. Enter the desired 'Service Participation' values.
  13. Click [Enter Service].
  14. Complete desired fields.
  15. Click [Submit].
  16. Click [Yes].
  17. Click [OK].
  18. Click [Check Services].
  19. Validate that the service is included in the report with the correct fee information.
  20. Close the report.
  21. Click [Submit].
  22. Repeat all steps above for Client 2, validating that the rows that display are the rows for 'Program 2' in 'PROS Program Participation Definition'.
