Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Create Interim Billing Batch File
  • Guarantors/Payors
  • Program Maintenance
  • Purge Billing Files
  • Quick Billing
  • Quick Billing Rule Definition
Scenario 1: Quick Billing workflow for existing unbilled services
Specific Setup:
  • Quick Billing Rule Definitions exist that allows the system to bill many services.
  • Unbilled services exist in the system that can be billed through the definitions. Note the dates of service.
Steps
  1. Open ‘Quick Billing’.
  2. Select ‘Add New’ in ‘Add New Or Edit Existing Quick Billing Batch’.
  3. Enter desired value in ‘First Date Of Service To Include’.
  4. Enter desired value in ‘Last Date Of Service To Include’.
  5. Select desired value in ‘Billing Rule Group To Execute’ or ‘Billing Rule To Execute’.
  6. Select values in ‘Quick Billing Tasks to Execute’.
  7. Click [Submit].
  8. Validate that the ‘Compile Complete’ message is received.
  9. Print the 837 report and validate the data.
