Product Update Form Description

The following changes are made: 1) The 'Payment By Posting Date' report is updated to enforce the selected date range for all 'Report Type' values. 2) The 'Payment By Posting Date' report is updated to not require a 'Start Date' and/or 'End Date' when the 'Report Type' has a value of 'Check Number', 'Receipt Number', or 'Client ID'.

Payment By Posting Date Report
The 'Payment By Posting Date Report' has been updated to require the 'Start Date' and 'End Date' fields only when the 'Report Type' is equal to 'All Users' or 'User ID'.
Value Added: Provides flexibility when the ‘Report Type’ is ‘Receipt Number’, ‘Check Number’, or 'Client'.

Payment By Posting Date Report
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Crystal Report Viewer
  • Payment by Posting Date
Scenario 1: Payment by Posting Date - Field Validations
Specific Setup:
  • There must be payments posted within the date range entered.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Payment by Posting Date' form.
  2. Validate the 'User' field is empty.
  3. Select "All Users" in the 'Report Type' field.
  4. Validate the 'User' field is disabled.
  5. Validate the 'Receipt Number' field is disabled.
  6. Validate the 'Check Number' field is disabled.
  7. Validate the 'Client' field is disabled.
  8. Enter the desired value in the 'Start Date' field.
  9. Enter the desired value in the 'End Date' field.
  10. Click [Process].
  11. Validate the crystal report displays the report data.
  12. If desired, note a 'User', 'Receipt Number', 'Check Number' and 'Client' to process other 'Report Type' options.
  13. Close the report.
  14. If desired, process reports by 'User', 'Receipt Number', 'Check Number' and 'Client' and validate the data.
  15. Close the form.
