Cal-OMS Admission form - Employment Status
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • App Dashboard
  • Cal-OMS Admission
  • Registry Settings (PM)
Scenario 1: CalOMS Admission - Validation
Specific Setup:
  • The registry setting "Enable LA County Reporting Requirements" is set to "Y".
  • A new client (OP) is created or an existing one is identified to perform Cal-OMS admission.
  • 'Client A'.
Steps
  1. Open the 'Cal-OMS Admission' form.
  2. Search for 'Client A' and select from the results.
  3. Select the episode from the grid.
  4. Navigate to the 'Employment Data' section.
  5. Verify that the section 'If the participant is not in the labor force, which of the following describes this participant? *' is dependent on the selection made in the field 'Employment Status', By performing the below actions:
  6. Select 'Employed Full Time (35 hrs or more)', in 'Employment Status'.
  7. Select 'Employed Part Time (less than 35 hrs)', in 'Employment Status'.
  8. Select 'Unemployed Looking For Work', in 'Employment Status'.
  9. Select 'Unemployed - (Not seeking)', in 'Employment Status'.
  10. Select 'Not in the labor force (Not seeking)', in 'Employment Status'.
  11. Validate that the section 'If the participant is not in the labor force, which of the following describes this participant? *' is enabled and required only when the selection e of step 5 is made.
  12. For all other selection(s) - a to d of step 5, the section remains not required and is disabled.
  13. Fill out all the needed fields of the 'Cal-OMS Admission' form and select [Submit].
  14. Select [Continue Filing].
  15. Open 'Registry Settings'.
  16. Search and set the 'Enable LA County Reporting Requirements' Registry Setting value to "N".
  17. Click [Submit].
  18. Click [OK].
  19. Click [No].
  20. Open the 'Cal-OMS Admission' form.
  21. Select the episode from the grid.
  22. Select the Cal-OMS Admission record from the grid.
  23. Select the 'Transaction Data' section.
  24. Validate that the 'Admission Transaction Type' text is now enabled.
  25. Click 'Initial Admission - Admission Transaction Type'.
  26. Select the 'Employment Data' section.
  27. Validate that the 'Employment Status' text exists.
  28. Verify that the selection made in Step 5 is retained.
  29. Validate that the section 'If the participant is not in the labor force, which of the following describes this participant? *' does not exist.
  30. Click [Submit].
  31. Open 'Registry Settings'.
  32. Search and set the 'Enable LA County Reporting Requirements' Registry Setting value back to "Y".
  33. Click [Submit].
  34. Click [OK].
  35. Click [No].
  36. Open the 'Cal-OMS Admission' form.
  37. Select the episode from the grid.
  38. Select the Cal-OMS Admission record from the grid.
  39. Select the 'Transaction Data' section.
  40. Validate that the 'Admission Transaction Type' text is now disabled.
  41. Verify that the selection filed in Step 20 is retained.
  42. Select the 'Employment Data' section.
  43. Validate that the field "Employment Status" is populated with the selected/ filed value.
  44. Validate that the field "If the participant is not in the labor force, which of the following describes this participant? *" is populated with the selected/ filed value.
  45. Verify that the section 'If the participant is not in the labor force, which of the following describes this participant? *' is dependent on the selection made in the field 'Employment Status', By performing the below actions:
  46. Select 'Employed Full Time (35 hrs or more)', in 'Employment Status'.
  47. Select 'Employed Part Time (less than 35 hrs)', in 'Employment Status'.
  48. Select 'Unemployed Looking For Work', in 'Employment Status'.
  49. Select 'Unemployed - (Not seeking)', in 'Employment Status'.
  50. Select 'Not in the labor force (Not seeking)', in 'Employment Status'.
  51. Validate that the section 'If the participant is not in the labor force, which of the following describes this participant? *' is enabled and required only when the selection e of step 5 is made.
  52. For all other selection(s) - a to d of step 5, the section remains not required and is disabled.
  53. Select the 'Admission Data' section.
  54. Validate that the field "What is your Principal Source of Referral?" is populated with the filed value.
  55. Clear the field by clicking the 'x' button on it.
  56. Validate that the field is cleared successfully.
  57. Fill out or modify all the needed fields and select [Submit].
  58. Select [Continue Filing].
  59. Open the 'Cal-OMS Admission' form.
  60. Select the episode from the grid.
  61. Select the Cal-OMS Admission record from the grid.
  62. Select the 'Admission Data' section.
  63. Validate that the field "What is your Principal Source of Referral?" is populated with the recently filed value.
  64. Fill out or modify all the needed fields.
  65. Select [Submit].
  66. Verify that we landed on the home screen that shows 'What can I help you find?'.
