An issue is resolved that may occur in 'Adjust Inventory' where only one decimal place is allowed in the 'Amount(mg)' and 'Unit Volume(mg)' fields.

Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Adjust Inventory
Scenario 1: Adjust Inventory - field validations
Specific Setup:
  • Inventory has been received in the 'Receive Inventory' form.
Steps
  1. Open the 'Adjust Inventory' form.
  2. Select the bottle to adjust in the 'Bottle Label' field. Note the bottle label for use later in this test.
  3. Select any value in the 'Adjustment Reason' drop down field.
  4. Select 'Decrease' in the 'Increase or Decrease' field.
  5. Enter a value in the 'Amount(mg)' field to include 2 decimal positions.
  6. Tab out of the field.
  7. Verify that the decimal positions are retained.
  8. Enter any text in the 'Note' field.
  9. Click [File]
  10. Click [OK] on the 'Adjust Inventory' 'Filed' pop-up window.
  11. Repeat the above steps 4-10, selecting 'Increase' in the 'Increase or Decrease' field.
  12. Click [Close form].
  13. Open the 'Adjust Inventory' form again.
  14. Select one of the same bottles used above in the 'Bottle Label' field.
  15. Verify the 'Unit Volume(mg)' contains the correct volume based on the prior adjustment, including the 2 decimal positions.
  16. Click [Close Form].
