Product Update Form Description

The issue where clients are not found in the Avatar AM 'Fast Dose Dispensing' form is resolved. This occurs when the user is logged into System Codes defined in Avatar, when the registry setting 'Enable RxConnect Facility ID' = "Y", and 'Facility ID' is blank in 'System Code Definition'.

'Fast Dose Dispensing' client search validation
When logged into sub system codes, clients assigned to programs associated to the sub system code will be included in the client search in Avatar AM 'Fast Dose Dispensing' form.
This occurs when the user is logged into System Codes defined in Avatar, when the registry setting 'Enable RxConnect Facility ID' = "Y", and 'Facility ID' is blank in 'System Code Definition'.
Value Added: Modified client search to include clients in the sub system codes.

Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Fast Dose Dispensing
  • Medication Order Report
  • Quick Medication Order
Scenario 1: Client selection validation in the Avatar AM 'Fast Dose Dispensing' form.
Specific Setup:
  • Registry Setting 'RADplus->Database Management->RxConnect->->->Enable RxConnect Facility ID' is set to 'Y'
  • The 'Facility ID' field is blank in the 'System Code Definition' form for sub system codes.
  • The 'Controlling Physician' field in the 'Inventory Location Table' is set to any physician who is not entered in the 'AM Facility Defaults' form.
  • The 'Multi-Clinic Facility?' field in AM Facility Defaults' form is set to 'Yes'.
  • A client (Client A) is admitted to a program associated to a system code (SubSystemCodeA).
Steps
  1. Log into Avatar using the subsystem code for Client A [SubSystemCodeA]
  2. Open 'Quick Medication Order' form.
  3. Select 'Client A' from the 'Select Client' search window.
  4. Verify the 'Ordering Practitioner' field is populated with the practitioner from the 'Controlling Physician' field in the 'Inventory Location Table' form.
  5. Select any value in the 'Medication Type' drop down field.
  6. Set the 'Effective Date' to the current date.
  7. Select 'Short' from the 'Order Type' field.
  8. Set the 'Expiration Date' to any date in the future.
  9. Set the 'Dosage 1' field to any dosage.
  10. Client [Medication Order Schedule].
  11. Review the Medication Order Schedule and click [OK].
  12. Click [Submit].
  13. Click [Yes] on the 'Print Medication Order Report?' dialog display window.
  14. Verify the 'Ordered By' field is populated practitioner from the 'Controlling Physician' field in the 'Inventory Location Table' form.
  15. Click [Close Report].
  16. Click [No] on the 'Submitting has completed. Do you wish to return to the form?' dialog display window.
  17. Open 'Fast Dose Dispensing' form.
  18. Enter 'Client A' in the 'Client ID' field.
  19. Verify the client is present in the search selection.
  20. Select 'Client A'.
  21. Complete dispensing as needed.
