Process Internal Referrals - PM
View and manage all referrals that have been sent to you.
Prerequisites:
- Your user name must be designated in the User(s) To Receive Internal Referrals field on the Internal Referral Type Maintenance form.
- Go to: Avatar PM > Referral Management > Process Internal Referrals
- The Internal Referral grid displays all referrals with an open status that have been assigned to you.
- The Internal Referral Information field displays additional details about the referral.
- In the Internal Referral Status field, select whether the referral status is:
- Accepted
- Rejected - More Information Needed
- Rejected
- Waitlist - This selection is only enabled for referrals with a waitlist indicated on the Internal Referral Type Maintenance form.
- In the Internal Referral Comments field, enter any additional remarks that might be useful to clarify the chosen status.
- These comments will appear in the To-Do alert for the user who initiated the referral.
- If this user is no longer active in the system and/or the client is no longer on that user's caseload, the To-Do alert will be routed to the attending practitioner for the client episode associated with the referral.
- If the client is no longer active in that episode, the To-Do alert will be sent to any attending practitioner assigned to any active episodes for the client.
- Click Process Internal Referral.
