Task List and Flowsheet prerequisites 

Task List, Flowsheet, and eMAR NX are designed to work together smoothly, including the ability to launch to Flowsheet assessments and, when appropriate, mark corresponding tasks complete directly from eMAR NX and/or Task List. To support this integration, it is critical that the Flowsheet URL for Task List be set up and confirmed by Netsmart Engineering.

eMAR NX integration with Flowsheet is optional while eMAR NX integration with Task List is required for non-medication orders (Lab Collections, Dietary Order administrations, and so on) but not required if documentation against non-pharmacy orders is not desired. Additionally, Task List can be self-implemented following instructions available on the Netsmart Resource Center.

Note: eMAR NX only supports medication orders. If non-medication orders require documentation in eMAR NX, use Task List to fulfill that workflow.
