About Workflows

Workflows are tailored to you and your role to guide you through a series of linked tasks. Workflows can be presented as either Consoles (also known as views) or as Bundles.

These workflows show the forms you use to complete tasks, such as document client records. Your organization can set up specialized workflows for roles such as  Clinical, Referrals, Admissions, Billing, and Intake. A single user can have multiple workflows available to them.

Note: Workflows created in myAvatar are available in myAvatar NX.

Consoles / views

Consoles (or views) display as tabs in the header and drive workflows and navigation. Each stage of a workflow has an associated console or view. The My Workflow Items in the left navigation pane are links to the forms in the console.

Bundles

A bundle is a collection of forms that leads you through a workflow.

In a workflow, the green vertical bar indicates the open form. To move to the next form in the workflow, either select the form in the bundle drop-down menu at the top of the view, or select Submit on the open form and myAvatar moves to the next form in the bundle.
