Foster Care Compile

This form allows you to compile dates for foster home reimbursement based on the Foster Child Placement and Placement Disruption data.

• When the compile is performed, you will be presented with a list of foster children. Each foster child will have an associated list of services. These services include the Foster Child Placement Service per day, excluding days associated with Placement Disruptions and any services entered via Foster Care Service Entry.
• Based on the data filed in the Foster Child Placement and Placement Disruption forms, the system will pull together placement dates expected for foster home reimbursement. A compile can be completed as many times as necessary to validate data prior to posting.

1. Go to: Avatar MSO > System Maintenance > Foster Care Compile
2. In the Process field, select the appropriate action.
   • Select Compile to create a compile file.
     • In the Start and End Date fields, enter the date range to include in the compile. the compile process will look for placement services within these dates.
   • Select Post to flag the dates of an existing compile file as being finalized for reimbursement.
     • Select an existing compile file from the File List field.
   • Select Run Report to re-run a compiled or posted report.
     • Select an existing compile file from the File List field.
   • Select Delete to delete reports that are no longer necessary.  Deleting the report will not delete the system flag that the dates have already been finalized.
3. Click Process.
