Placement Disruption
Identify the dates/date ranges for when a foster child is not actually in the foster home, and when the foster home should not be receiving reimbursement for those dates.
- Go to: Avatar MSO > Membership Management > Placement Disruption
- On the Select Client screen, search for and select a foster child.
- In the Disruption Start Date field, enter the beginning date of the child's disruption from the home. This date, along with the setup of the Reason For Disruption, will identify whether or not a day will compile for reimbursement.
- In the Disruption End Date field, enter the ending date of the child's disruption from the home. While blank, the system will assume that the foster child has not returned to the foster home and continue to compile dates based on the Reason For Disruption.
- In the Expected Return Date, enter the date when the disruption is anticipated to end and the child return to the home. This field can be used for user defined reporting to alert when a foster child is still on disruption beyond an expected return date.
- In the Reason For Disruption field, select the reason that the child left the home.
- In the Disruption Notes field, enter any relevant information regarding the disruption.
- Click Submit.
