Enter Intake and Output in Flowsheet

myAvatar Flowsheet can chart client/patient Intake and Outputs (I&O's). The I&O balance is cumulative. If more than one entry is documented per day and the interval is set to 'daily', the balance shown is the cumulative value. Changing the view from 'daily' to 'actual' shows the balance for the actual time frame.

Note: Your organization can determine the default interval. 

  1. In myAvatar, select a client/patient.
  2. Select an episode.
  3. Select the Flowsheet console.
  4. Select I&O.
  5. Enter input and/or output value(s).
  6. Sign the I&O assessment.
    Result: The I&O balance displays.
