Treatment Tree View
Enter treatment plan information. Information can be entered here, or populated from a library, through the Treatment Plan Library View.
Features
- View the treatment plan layout in one screen.
- As items are selected in the Treatment Plan Tree View, the fields that work with the selected item display in the work area below. These fields can be edited.
- As information is edited in the work area, the corresponding items in the Tree View are updated.
- A red flag will display next to an item that is missing required information.
Once the required information is filed, the flag is removed. - Treatment plan library items can be dragged from the Treatment Plan Library View onto the Tree View.
Customizing the view
The Treatment Plan Tree View and Library View screen can be customized in several ways.
- Use the mouse to change the window size and position.
Click and drag to resize the window vertically or horizontally.
Click the right or left arrow button to expand or collapse the Treatment Plan Tree View.
Click the up or down arrow button to shift the Tree View display up or down.
Click the angled arrow button to pop out arrow in the tree view. The window can be moved and resized. Click the arrow again to return the window.
Buttons
Clicking either of the following buttons will save any work in progress.
- Back To Plan Page – click to navigate to the main Treatment Plan screen.
- Exit To Home View – click to close the form, and navigate to the Home View.
Treatment Plan Work Area
- Treatment plan items can be added by clicking the Add New buttons.
Available items to add will depend on the current selection in the Treatment Plan Tree View. - Treatment plan items can be dragged from the Treatment Plan Library View, to their corresponding place in the Tree View.
- Text fields are spell-checked for accuracy as text is entered.
The Date of Onset and Status (Problem List) fields are specific to the Problem Code on the Problem List and not to the Treatment Plan problem. The fields below the Problem text field are specific to the Treatment Plan problem and not the Problem Code.
Entering information and updating fields
- As information is entered or edited for a problem, goal, objective, or intervention, that information updates in the Tree View.
The original goal, as it displays in the Goal text field, and on the Tree View.
Editing the Goal text updates the goal in the Tree View.
Automatic Save
As information is entered for an item in the Tree View, that information is automatically saved when a different item is selected.
Problems
- Add New Problem
Click to create a problem. The problem will also be added to the Problem List form, when this form is submitted.
Problems cannot be deleted. - Click and drag a problem from the Library View.
Information in the problem populates the Work Area, and can be edited.
- Problem Code – enter the code and select.
This will link the problem to a problem code.
SNOMED codes, and problem codes entered in the Problem List form are available.
- If Specify Other is entered in the Problem Code field:
In the Other field enter any problems not listed.

Date Of Onset – enter the date of the problem onset. This is specific to the problem on the Problem List, not to the Treatment Plan problem.
For existing problems, this date populates from the Date of Onset field (Problem List form). -
Status - select the problem status. This is specific to the problem on the Problem List, not to the Treatment Plan problem.

Problem Details - enter any details associated with the problem.

Date Opened - enter the date the problem was opened.

Staff Assigning – enter the staff member, and select.

Staff Responsible - enter the responsible staff member, and select.

Goals

Add New Goal
Click to add a goal. -
Click and drag a goal from the Library View.
Information in the goal populates the Work Area, and can be edited.

Goal - enter the goal description.

Date Opened - enter the date the goal was opened.

Status - select the goal status.

Date Due - enter the goal due date.

Date Closed - enter the goal closed date, if applicable.

Objectives
- Add New Objective
Click to add an objective. -
Click and drag an objective from the Library View.
Information in the objective populates the Work Area, and can be edited.

Interventions
- Add New Intervention.
Click to add an intervention. -
Click and drag an intervention from the Library View.
Information in the intervention populates the Work Area, and can be edited.
- Intervention - enter the intervention description.
- Date Opened - enter the date the intervention was opened.
- Staff Responsible - enter the staff member, and select.
- Staff Assigning - enter the staff member, and select.
- Status - select the intervention status.
- Type of Intervention - select the type of intervention.
- Assigned Services table - associate services to the intervention. You may have multiple rows for the same service code.
Link interventions to services. This restricts the services that can be rendered to those that are part of a finalized treatment plan. Only services that have been assigned to the program are available for searching.
- Add Service
Click to add a service.- Select the Service Program. This allows for non-episodic treatment plans to be assigned to one of the client's active episodes. The programs in this field are loaded based on the Enable "Admission vs. Service Program" Functionality registry setting.
The program must have services assigned to it and the Enable Service Entry Restriction for Program functionality set to Yes (both accomplished via the Assign Services To Program section of the Program Maintenance form). - Enter the service code. Only those services assigned to the program are available.
- Frequency - select the frequency.
- Duration - select the duration.
- Select the Service Program. This allows for non-episodic treatment plans to be assigned to one of the client's active episodes. The programs in this field are loaded based on the Enable "Admission vs. Service Program" Functionality registry setting.
- Copy Service
Displays the Copy Services screen. Services associated with other interventions in the same treatment plan are available to be copied.
Select the service, click OK. - Delete Service
Removes the service from the treatment plan.
