Record goals in the client treatment plan

Record the final resolutions for each of the documented problems.


  1. Go to: Avatar CWS > Treatment Planning > Client Treatment Plan > Goals Section
  2. In the Select Problem Link field, choose the treatment plan problem that will be associated with the goal.
  3. If appropriate, in the Select Goal To Edit field, select the goal.
  4. If appropriate, in the Select Library field, select the treatment plan library.
  5. Enter new goals manually or select them from a library:
    • Choose Select From Library.
    • In the TX Plan Selections screen, select the goal and then Ok.
  6. In the Date Opened field, enter the goal opened date.
  7. In the Status field, select the goal status.
  8. If appropriate, enter the goal due date and goal closed date.
  9. In the Staff Assigning field, enter the staff name of the person who identified the problem, and select Process Search.
  10. Select Ok.
  11. If appropriate, in the Staff Responsible field of the person responsible for tracking the problem, and select Process Search.
  12. Select Ok.
    Note: The Predefined field displays Yes when the goal was selected from a library; it displays No for all other goals.
  13. Click Delete to remove the displayed treatment plan item.
