Clinical Screening

Clinical screening is used to review new pharmacy orders for possible interactions. The Micromedex database is used to reference clinical screening.

Clinical screening can be performed when orders are copied, discontinued, held, resumed, or renewed. When pre-authorized orders are activated they can be clinically screened.
