Alert Trigger Logic

Determine which alerts display in the Alerts field (Client Health Maintenance form) and define conditions that determine an alert.

The sad icon displays in a client's Chart Review when an alert item has not been met.

Compare the client’s current age and gender to a custom vaccine (Health Maintenance Guideline Definition form).
Select vaccines that meet the customized qualifications.
If no custom guidelines exist, the default vaccine displays (Health Maintenance Guideline Definition - Facility form).
Evaluate the first qualifying vaccine.
If any of the following conditions are met the next vaccine is evaluated:
The vaccine does not meet the custom vaccine definition.
The vaccine is not recurring, and has been administered.
The vaccine is not listed in the Also Covers extended data element (Vaccine dictionary).
The vaccine is not due, past due, or within the number months defined in the Health Maintenance Alert registry setting.
Display an alert for all remaining vaccines that meet the defined guidelines.

Select wellness items that meet the customized qualifications.
If no custom guidelines exist, the default wellness item displays (Health Maintenance Guideline Definition - Facility form).
Evaluate the first qualifying wellness item, if any of the following conditions are met the next wellness item is evaluated:
The wellness item does not meet the custom wellness item definition.
The wellness item is not recurring and has been administered.
The wellness item is not due, past due, or within the number months defined in the Health Maintenance Alert registry setting.
Display an alert for all remaining wellness item that meet the defined guidelines.
