Pre-Pour Dispensing
The Pre-Pour Dispensing option allows for the takeout doses to be prepared ahead of the client arriving at the clinic. The preparation can be for all clients or a single client and can include Takeout Visits - in the case where the takeouts are prepared ahead of time each day, or for Takeout and Clinic Visits - for example in preparation for a holiday when the clinic will be closed.
The option also allows for the entry of spilled doses - which allows for the re-dispensing - or return to inventory. It also includes the ability to print the labels for all of the takeout bottles. As well as the ability to create exception doses based on the doctors change order if necessary.
Prerequisites
Medication Types must be set-up prior to entering this data.
If the option will be utilized for the preparation of takeout doses based on the client's specific Medication Order schedule, that schedule must be entered first.
