Bottle Maintenance
Bottles of methadone are carefully tracked in myAvatar AM through Bottle Maintenance. This form (Bottle Maintenance) is used to open and close bottles and complete the medication reconciliation.
Correctly updating bottle labels will ensure that supplies are properly updated for ordering and that no issues are found in audits. You can edit the label, inventory type, received on date, internal number, expiration date, order number, amount in bottle, bottle status, and if the bottle is closed.
Prerequisites:
- Inventory must be received before Bottle Maintenance is utilized.
- Select the bottle you need to edit/view in the Select Bottle Label field.
- Choose Open Bottle, Close Bottle, Add Bottle To Active List, or Remove Bottle From Active List.
- Under the Bottle Information section, click on the edit button and edit the information within that section.
