Bottle Label Edit

Bottles of methadone are carefully tracked in myAvatar AM through Bottle Maintenance. Upon receiving inventory, label information is entered. If (after filing) the inventory label needs to be modified or changed, the Bottle Label Edit form is used to make that change. This form (Bottle Label Edit) will be used if you need to make an edit to the bottle label for a bottle of methadone or make corrections to inventory that was imported inaccurately into myAvatar AM.

Correctly updating bottle labels will ensure that supplies are properly updated for ordering and that no issues are found in audits. You can edit the label, inventory type, received on date, internal number, expiration date, order number, amount in bottle, bottle status, and more.

Note: When adding new inventory of bottles, you cannot enter 2 bottles with the same label into the system.

1. In the “Select Bottle Label” field type the name of the bottle label you need to edit.
2. In the “New Bottle Label,” edit the label name.
3. Click File New Label button to save your changes. 

Note: On the right-hand side of this form is the Bottle Information section, where you can view information on the selected bottle, inventory type, received on date, internal number, expiration date, and order number.
