Consolidated Patient Counts by Month – Generated

Consolidation Patient Counts by Month is a supplement to the Consolidated Patient Statistics Report which displays the number of admissions, readmissions, discharges and deaths during the reporting period. This report provides a monthly breakdown of the information included in the Patient Statistics Report.

Patient Activity Summary	Patient activities for the corresponding months.

Using this window, you can preview and print a report with information about patients who were active during the particular month.

Consolidated Patient Counts by Month – Define Tab

Use the Define tab to define the information you want to include in the report. You can also use the Consolidated Patient Counts by Month – Consolidation Tab to define the level of specificity of the report and the Preview Tab to view a sample report onscreen.

Consolidated Patient Counts by Month – Consolidation Tab

Use the Consolidation tab to define the level of specificity you want to include in the report. For each level you select, you should also determine the values you want to include. The levels are listed from the most general to the most specific ones.

Using the Consolidation tab, you can select branches, teams, patient classes, and insurance codes.

The report includes a summary page with the grand total for all levels. The first page of the report includes the exact consolidation and selection criteria that were specified for the report, so that you can easily see exactly where the numbers on the report came from.

You can also use:

•	Consolidated Patient Counts by Month – Define Tab – To define report options and information that should be included in the report.

•	Preview Tab – To view the report onscreen. You can also print the report or save it as a separate file using this tab.

Preview, Print, or Save the Consolidated Patient Counts by Month

1.	Open the Reports component.

2.	From the menu bar, select General>Consolidated Patient Counts by Month.

3.	The Consolidated Patient Counts by Month window appears with the Define tab active. Enter the values in the Define tab and Consolidation tab fields as appropriate.

4.	Select the Preview tab to view the report onscreen.

If you change the criteria on the Define tab after preview, those changes do not take effect the next time you preview. You should click Close on the Preview tab and then click the Preview tab again.

5.	Click Print to print the report.

6.	Click to save the report as an Excel, Acrobat, or ASCII file as appropriate.
