Start a TimeLog
Path: Transactions>General>TimeLog
If your agency has specific policies for how you should complete the TimeLog, be sure to follow those policies. These steps are only a general outline of how the TimeLog is typically completed.
- Go to Transactions>General>TimeLog.
- Enter the date, visit code, patient ID, and CPT code as appropriate.
- Complete the Start and End fields for travel time and the Start field for direct time and indirect time as appropriate.
- Enter the odometer start and end readings and the total number of miles traveled as appropriate.
- Complete the Cash field as appropriate.
- If this visit is a PRN visit, select the PRN check box.
- Click next to the patient's name to jump to the patient in the Patient component. Netsmart Homecare automatically saves the TimeLog when you jump to the patient.
