Run or participate in a Conference

Netsmart Homecare > Case Conference > General > Case Conference > Start/Join Conference

  1. Select the Participants tab
  2. Add Guest Participants present for the conference
  3. Optional: Select the Notes tab
    1. The notes on this tab are applicable to the conference, not individual patient
  4. Select Patient tab
  5. Select Begin Review
  6. Select a Patient for review
  7. Review any pre-work Case Conference Notes
  8. Review Patient Chart tabs displayed
  9. Optional: Select View Patient to open the Patient module and view/edit full patient information
    1. Additional Patient module windows may be opened
  10. Return to the Case Conference
  11. Optional: Select Refresh to update information from the Patient module
  12. In Case Conference Notes Entered By select Add Note 
  13. Record the case conference discussion details  or
    1. Optional: Select Insert Narrative
      1. Check to select Narrative(s) from the list
      2. Select OK
      3. Add additional narrative information as needed
  14. Select Save Notes
  15. Select Done when the review is complete
  16. Select the next patient to review from the Patients list on the left or select the right arrow in the patient header to select the next patient
  17. Repeat steps 7 to 15 until all patients have been reviewed.
  18. Optional: Select Skip Patient for patients not reviewed.
  19. Optional: Select Edit to add or modify information if needed
  20. Select View Roster
  21. Select Mark as Complete at conference conclusion
  22. Optional: Select Print Conference
  23. Optional: Select Lock Conference
    1. Conference should be locked when complete and no additional edits are expected.
