View an existing incident
If you have access to the Incidents module and have been given the appropriate security for the incident, you can add or open existing events.
- Go to Incidents > Incidents > Incident.
- In the Select Incident field, select the magnifying glass.
- In the Select Incident window enter search criteria and press Enter.
- Select an incident.
The far right columns in the search results indicate whether an Incident is locked or is of a sensitive nature. Locked incidents are those that have either been submitted to or have been approved by a supervisor.
Note: If an incident has been routed to a user who is on leave, another supervisor or sys admin with access to the incidents module can use the Re-Assign To field within the Routing Options tab to select a different user for approval.
