View an existing incident

If you have access to the Incidents module and have been given the appropriate security for the incident, you can add or open existing events.

  1. Go to Incidents > Incidents > Incident.
  2. In the Select Incident field, select the magnifying glass.
  3. In the Select Incident window enter search criteria and press Enter
  4. Select an incident.

The far right columns in the search results indicate whether an Incident is locked or is of a sensitive nature. Locked incidents are those that have either been submitted to or have been approved by a supervisor.

Note: If an incident has been routed to a user who is on leave, another supervisor or sys admin with access to the incidents module can use the Re-Assign To field within the Routing Options tab to select a different user for approval.
