Set up Affirming Demographics for a client

Affirming Demographic information entered in the Demographics form displays in the Client header throughout myEvolv NX and in Front Desk NX Check-in. 

Prerequisite:

  • The Preferred Pronoun table is updated as needed (Setup > System > Table Maintenance-Simple > Tables). 
  1. Go to: Client > Client Information > Personal Information > Demographics.
  2. Select a client.
  3. In the Name group, enter the client's Gender, Gender Identity, Preferred Name, and Preferred Pronoun.
    • If both Gender and Gender Identity are entered for a person, myEvolv displays the Gender Identity in the client header.
    • If only Gender is entered, only Gender displays in the client header.
      Note: For Gender and Gender Identity, only the SC code displays. A tool tip with the full description is available on hover over.
    • If a Preferred Name is entered for a client, the Preferred Name displays below the client name in blue with parenthesis ( ). 
  4. Select Save.

Results:

  • In the Client header, the Preferred Name, Gender or Gender Identity, and Preferred Pronoun display in the Client header.
  • In Front Desk NX Check-in, the Preferred Name and Preferred Pronoun display on the appointment cards.
    • Gender can be viewed by hovering over the ' i ' information icon. To view Gender Identity, access client demographics by selecting the client name.
