Record a client strength

In myEvolv you can add strengths to identify the positive attributes of a client. If you selected strengths during the client assessment, those items appear under Strengths in the appropriate module: Client, Referral, Program Referrals, or Family Cases.

You also can enter strengths directly, without their being linked to a domain in an assessment. Strengths records include the instrument (test) that was used for the discovery of the strengths, as well as its score value.

  1. Go to the appropriate location: 
    • Client Case Management > Plan Development > Strengths
    • Referral > Agency Referral Testing/Screening > Strengths
    • Program Referrals > Program Referrals > Testing/Screening > Strengths
    • Family Cases > Clinical Information > Case Planning > Strengths Identified
  2. Search for and select a client.
    Result: The client record opens and a list of strengths on file displays.
  3. In the toolbar select Add New and select Strengths - Person.
    Result: The Client Strengths form opens.
  4. Complete relevant information. The following fields are required:
  • Category - Click the magnifying glass to select a problem category from the Problem Category Lookup dialog.
  • Strength -  Click the magnifying glass to select a strength listed in the Strengths Library dialog. The strengths displayed are associated with the problem category you select.
  • Strengths Narrative - The system may populate text in the Strengths Narrative field based on the strength you selected. You can modify the text in this field as necessary.
  1. Click Save.
