Manage progress notes for Family Cases
Progress notes for family cases are entered as part of family case services. Depending on how the event is set up, you have the ability to enter a single note or multiple notes. You can also add notes to individual case members.
Enter a Progress Note
- Go to Family Cases > Clinical Information > Service Management > Service Entry.
- Choose Select Case then search for and select the appropriate case.
- For the appropriate program, click Enter New Service and select the appropriate service.
- Under Progress Note, enter text in the Progress Note field.
- When finished, select Save.
Enter Multiple Progress Notes
- In the Service Entry, select the Participating Staff/Notes tab.
- In the Note column, click the Ellipses.
- Click Update.
Note: A system administrator must configure the system to make one or more progress note available in service entry. For information on configuring progress notes in the service entry screens, refer to Setup Group and Case Events.
Run a Report on Progress Notes on a Family Case
Any individual note entered for client on the family case service can be pulled on client progress note reports.
- Go to Reports > Families/Cases > Service Management > Progress Notes.
- Enter the relevant report parameters to determine the data displayed on the report.
- Select Preview.
System Result: The report displays the report with the progress notes.
Run a Report on an Individual Note
Any individual note entered for client on the family case service can be pulled on client progress note reports.
- Go to Reports > Clients > Services & Treatment > Progress Notes.
- Enter the relevant report parameters to determine the data displayed on the report.
- Select Preview.
System Result: The report displays the report with the progress notes.
