Create an outreach event
Your agency might hold an outreach event to welcome the public to tour their facility or to inform a targeted group of people about an event that might interest them, such as a session on becoming a foster parent or a workshop on managing stress.
- Go to Outreach > Outreach > Outreach > Information.
- Select New Outreach and select the appropriate outreach event type.
- Complete the appropriate information. The following fields are required:
- Category - Select the relevant category for this event.
- Type - The system automatically populates this field based on the selection you made in the New Outreach list.
- Program - Select the program that offers the event.
- Actual Date/Time - Choose a date and time. The system automatically defaults to 12:00 AM. To change the time, click the clock button and select a time.
- Total # of Participants - Enter the total number of participants.
- Type - Select a location type.
- Select Save.
