Create an outreach event

Your agency might hold an outreach event to welcome the public to tour their facility or to inform a targeted group of people about an event that might interest them, such as a session on becoming a foster parent or a workshop on managing stress. 

  1. Go to Outreach > Outreach > Outreach > Information.
  2. Select New Outreach and select the appropriate outreach event type. 
  3. Complete the appropriate information. The following fields are required:
    1. Category - Select the relevant category for this event.
    2. Type - The system automatically populates this field based on the selection you made in the New Outreach list.
    3. Program - Select the program that offers the event.
    4. Actual Date/Time - Choose a date and time. The system automatically defaults to 12:00 AM. To change the time, click the clock button and select a time.
    5. Total # of Participants - Enter the total number of participants. 
    6. Type - Select a location type.
  4. Select Save.
