Bed management in myEvolv with BedBoard
In the BedBoard app, view bed occupancy at the agency, facility, unit, and room levels in myEvolv.
BedBoard app features include:

Bed management with BedBoard app
To access the BedBoard app, go to Taskbar > BedBoard > BedBoard > BedBoard in myEvolv.
The BedBoard app opens to the Occupancy Report that shows bed occupancy at the agency, facility, unit, and room levels. See the CarePOV BedBoard User Guide for more information.
- The Unit list shows the facility, unit, room, and bed levels at the organization. The unit information is entered in myEvolv at Agency > Service Locations > Sites/Residentials > BedBoard Units. Room and bed information is entered at Agency > Service Locations > Sites/Residentials > Capacity.
- The Occupancy Report shows the maximum, occupied, reserved, and available beds.
- The toolbar options vary depending on the information that appears in the main view.

- Client stay; represents a bed at the facility
Click a client stay to view the client's discharge status, room and bed assignment, and demographic information. In the BedBoard app, staff can update the Bed Assignment, add and remove Alerts, and enter Staff Notes.
Rooms and beds
Updates to room and bed information.
- Room Capacity - This can only be updated in myEvolv (Agency > Service Locations > Sites/Residentials > Capacity).
- Room Type - Updating the room type in the BedBoard app will update the room type in myEvolv (Agency > Service Locations > Sites/Residentials > Capacity). This will change the capacity per gender; that is, changing from Male to Female will set the Male capacity to 0 and the Female capacity to the previous Male capacity.
- Room Status - Updating the room status in the BedBoard app will update the room status in myEvolv in the following ways:
- Available - The room has one or more beds available. In myEvolv, the room's 'Is Active' check box will be selected.
- Full - The room has no beds available. This status is determined by a room's current number of occupants compared to its maximum number of occupants. It cannot be set manually. This status does not update room information in myEvolv.
- Unavailable - The room is not available. In myEvolv, the room's 'Is Active' check box will not be selected.
- Room Notes - Updating room notes in the BedBoard app will update the room notes in myEvolv (Agency > Service Locations > Sites/Residentials > Capacity).
- Bed Assignment - Changing the client's bed assignment in the BedBoard app will appear as an enrollment transfer in myEvolv (Client > Client Information > Critical Information > Enrollment Information. Click the latest enrollment and the bed will be the bed the client was transferred to.
Client alerts
- Alerts entered in myEvolv (Client > Client Information > Critical Information > Alerts/Restrictions) appear in the client's stay information in the BedBoard app.
- Alerts can be toggled on and off in the BedBoard app.
- An alert added in the BedBoard app is listed in myEvolv (Client > Client Information > Critical Information > Alerts/Restrictions) with the Alert Statement 'Added in BedBoard'. An alert removed in the BedBoard app is listed in myEvolv with an end date that corresponds to the removal date.
