Work Placement Verification

This article will cover how to verify employment. This is primarily used by Employment Programs, where documentation of an individual’s continued participation in employment or Work Placement is required.

Verifying an Individual’s Employment

Note: This functionality is triggered by entry of the event, ‘Work Placement.’ The ‘Employment History’ event will not trigger this functionality. Both of those events are entered here: Client > Client Information > Personal Information > Employment History

  1. Navigate to: Client > Case Management > Service Management > Work Placement Verification.
  2. By default, the individual’s work schedule (as identified in the Work Placement event) will appear for the current week. If documentation is required for a previous week, the date can be changed in the top-left corner of the screen.

  1. To verify the individual’s continued employment, check the Confirm check box.

  1. Additional options:
    • If the person continues to participate in employment, but has an excused absence that date, check the Excused check box.
    • If the person was working that date, but worked for more or fewer hours than scheduled, you can modify the number of hours.
      1. You can select the Excused check box to indicate that this variance is acceptable.

Note: myEvolv will not allow the user to confirm employment for future dates.

To review all Employment Verifications:

  1. Navigate to: Client > Client Information > Personal Information > Employment History.
  2. Open the relevant Work Placement event.
  3. Scroll to the bottom, and select the tab, ‘Work Placement Verification.’ This will show all instances of Verification for this Employment.
