Track Referrals to External Sources
The Referrals Made area is used for tracking referrals your agency makes to outside agencies through the use of events. External Sources are essentially providers that work with your agency. Here you can view an existing referral or create a new one. You can create a new event such as Primary Care Referral or Referral to Another Agency. The forms become new Events in the system for that referral.

High-Level Workflow
The following is the basic workflow for an external referral:
- Create a new referral using the Referral to Agency wizard to collect the required information.
- Intake the referral as a client into the system using the Client module. Note: Some of the information automatically ports over during this intake process.
